The Interregional Academy of Personnel Managemen
The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) was founded in 1989 as a nongovernmental higher education and research establishment professionally engaged in problems of management and business.
The IAPM represents the largest nongovernmental higher education establishment of Ukraine (around 45,000 students from 32 countries of the world) training experts in 32 specialties, 132 specializations pertaining to 16 fields and branches. Over 20 years of its activities, it has prepared thousands of skilled management experts: production, business and other types of managers, financiers, marketing experts, sociologists, psychologists, and lawyers.
The IAPM has honorary awards, among which the following ones:
1998 – All-Ukrainian Popularity and Quality Open Rating “Fortune’s Wheel” – “Crystal Horn of Plenty” in the nomination “The best nongovernmental higher education establishment of Ukraine.”
1999 – the 6th International Goods and Services Popularity and Quality Open Rating “Golden Fortune” – “Crystal Elephant” in the nomination “The best nongovernmental higher education establishment of Ukraine.”
Decoration “For Labor Achievements” of the 3rd degree awarded as a result of the All-Ukrainian Popularity and Quality Open Rating “Golden Fortune.”
1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003 – Rating of the higher education establishments of Ukraine “Sophia of Kyiv” in the nominations “The best nongovernmental higher education establishment of Ukraine” and “The best higher education establishment of Ukraine in the area of management.”
Decoration “For Development of Ukraine” of the 4th degree awarded as a result of the International Goods and Services Popularity and Quality Open Rating “Golden Fortune.”
Decoration “Venerable Nestor the Chronicler” of the 1st degree awarded by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
2003 – “Nelson Mandela” medal.
2004 – award of the National Contest “Brand of the Year-2004” (in the nomination “People’s Recognition”); it was presented to chancellor of the Academy Professor Mykola Holovaty.
2006 – victory in the National Business Rating followed by conferment of the status of “The Leader in the Field of Higher Education.”
2007 – the Academy entered the top-100 of the capital’s taxpayers (the award from the Kyiv City State Administration).
The Academy is licensed (STATE LICENSE Series AB ¹ 048032 as of April 10, 2006) and accredited under the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th levels, and entitled to issue State-approved higher education credentials. The IAPM is member of the International Personnel Academy (IPA), which is an international civic association, as well as of the International Association of Universities of the European University Continual Education Network (EUCEN).
The Academy graduates are granted State-approved higher education credentials and diplomas executed in conformity with international and conferred the qualifications of junior specialist, bachelor, specialist, and master.
Dr. George Shchokin is the founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. He is a Candidate of Psychological Sciences and Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor and Academician of a number of home, foreign and international universities and academies, Honorary Professor, Honorary Doctor of higher education establishments of Azerbaijan, Belarus’, Armenia, Kyrghyzstan, Moldova, Russia, the USA and other countries, and Honored Educationalist.
The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management includes:
- Presidential University (city of Kyiv);
- All-Ukrainian University (institutes, branches, and divisions in all regions of Ukraine);
- International Open University (foreign branches);
More than 2,000 professors and instructors, of whom over 75% are Doctors and Candidates of Sciences, ensure the educational process at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.
