Embroidery Day is one of the few holidays of non-state and non-religious nature. A simple flashmob of students turned into a powerful patriotic movement among Ukrainians around the world.
Embroidery is our national shrine. Embroidered shirt, embroidered towel are passed from generation to generation, kept as a priceless relic.
