Interregional Academy of Personnel Management

On December 1-2, 2017, the chairman of the Law Clinic named after Ataman Anton Golovaty of the Odessa Institute of MAUP, a doctor of philosophy in the field of law, the senior teacher of the department of legal disciplines, Vladimir Marchenko, participated in the All-Ukrainian Congress of Legal Clinics, which was held at the Chernivtsi National University named after Yuri Fedkovich. The program of the congress was interesting and rich. The results of the legal clinical movement of Ukraine, the issues of participation of the Clinic in modern social processes are discussed. A series of master classes from Ukrainian and foreign experts has also been held.                                                                                                                                                        

Ataman Anton Holovaty Law Clinic at the Odessa Institute of IAPM is a training and practical division and from 2017 is a member of the All-Ukrainian Association of Legal Clinics. The purpose of the clinic's work is to consolidate and deepen the students' theoretical knowledge that they have acquired in studying vocational training disciplines. Students also undergo training and production practices based on the Clinics.

The legal clinic has been operating since 2009. Management is administered by the Board of Directors under the chairmanship of the Clinic's Chair. The clinic donates free assistance to people in the microdistrict. There is a requirement in the Clinic that each student consultant should know about Anton Holovaty's activities in Ukraine and in Odessa. A museum of the Cossacks, where there is a portrait of A. Holovaty, is opened near the Black Sea Cossacks Street.

The legal clinic provides free legal assistance on the protection of the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens and organizations; civil, economic, criminal, housing, family, labor, financial law, as well as social and retirement benefits. The consultants of the legal clinic are senior students of the specialty "Law" of the Odessa Institute of MAUP, which provide legal assistance to poor people. About 40-80 Odessites and inhabitants of the oblast, including from complicated, lengthy questions. The Clinic's work verified the administration of the justice, recognized it satisfactory.

According to the results of the work of the All-Ukrainian Congress of Legal Clinics at the Odessa Institute of the IAPM on December 6, a meeting of board members and students of the Clinic consultants is planned for discussion of the results and tasks for the future.
