10 September 2019 11:25

The event took place on September 7 in Taras Shevchenko Park.

City of Professions is an international project and the largest career guidance project in Ukraine. In the event, every child, regardless of age, received a passport and the opportunity to "get a job". Professionals introduced children to the specifics of their professions. Among professionals were a lawyer, a tourism specialist, a lifeguard, a police officer, a dentist, a veterinarian, an electrician, an IT specialist, and others.

In the City of Professions, children learn more about the possibilities of the adult world. The goal of the project is to give each child a chance to reach their full potential.

More than 1 million children have visited the city of professions and the project was held in 50 Ukrainian cities. In Khmelnytskyi, the event took place for the sixth time. Children had the opportunity to try their hand at different fields of activity. This year, the focus was on the professions related to technology and science.

About noon, Taras Shevchenko's square—the place of "employment"—became crowded. The long queue of children with their parents lined up at the entrance to the "city" to get special passports, where they were taught mastered professions.

In the square, there were about a hundred locations, where you could try your hand in different professions: from government agency worker and businessman to salesman and technologist.

The holiday was a glory: children and parents are happy!
