Interregional Academy of Personnel Management

To date, the employment of young people is considered one of the most acute socio-economic problems associated with the fact that the labor market and the market for educational services are developing according to the laws of supply and demand. Recently, there is a trend that young professionals in the search for work first turn to the nearest environment and only then, in the absence of proposals, to the State Employment Service.

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management annually produces thousands of highly qualified specialists and professes the principle of unity of theoretical training and practical activity. Therefore, in September 2006, the Academy established the Center for Organization of Practice, Employment of Students and Work with Graduates. The main goal of the Center is to create favorable conditions for the further development of mutual cooperation between the Academy, graduates and students, to solve problems of employment of graduates and students of IAPM, to undergo pre-diploma, production and training practice in the leading institutions of Kyiv.

In the process of training, IAPM students practice on the basis of about 200 state bodies and commercial structures, with which agreements and memoranda of cooperation have been signed. The most outstanding of them are:

- structural units of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine;

- Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine;

- Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine;

- Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine;

- National Academy of Legal Sciences;

- National Agency for Civil Service;

- The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine;

- State fiscal service;

- The State Judicial Administration of Ukraine;

- State Intellectual Property Service;

- The National Police of Ukraine;

- Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine;

- The International Commercial Arbitration Court;

- The Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine

- structural subdivisions of the State Executive Service;

- Kyiv Regional State Administration;

- district state administrations in the city of Kiev, etc.

On the basis of IAPM there is a discussion club, which systematically holds meetings of students with people's deputies of Ukraine, heads of central authorities, with which agreements and memoranda on cooperation and practical workers of these institutions have been signed. Thus, young people can find employment in their student years, so that after graduation they already have a stable basis and experience in leading Ukrainian companies.

The Academy regularly holds job fairs, to which representatives of the personnel services of state bodies and commercial structures are invited. During these events, students have the opportunity to get acquainted with the available vacancies, prospects for building a career in the desired area of ​​activity, and often receive direct proposals for employment after graduation from the Academy. So on April 26 at the Academy was held the Job Fair, in which about 25 companies and enterprises took part.

«It is possible to give theoretical knowledge to students, but practice is the key to mastering any profession, said Ksenia Lovetskaya, head of the Center for Organization of Practice, Employment of Students and Work with Graduates of IAPM. - Such events as Vacancy fairs contribute to the creation of conditions for passing pre-diploma, production and training practices in the leading institutions of Kyiv, as well as the fact that graduates and students of IAPM can pick up several vacancies in one place and decide on their future job . I hope that such measures will help to establish fruitful cooperation between the Academy and enterprises and employers' companies of Ukraine.»

Today, IAPM graduates successfully work in various state institutions, among them: the Administration of the President of Ukraine; The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine; Security Service of Ukraine; National Police of Ukraine; The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine; Border Guard Service of Ukraine, etc.

Many graduates of the Academy became successful entrepreneurs, politicians, social and cultural figures. Among them: Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman, Ukrainian hero, Ukrainian politician, People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the 5th convocation Vasily Volga, Ukrainian journalist, politician, public figure Yuri Artemenko, title holder "The strongest man of Ukraine" Vasily Virastyuk, Public and political figure, People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 7th and 8th convocations Mikhail Golovko and others.

It is worth noting that the IAPM alumni are actively supporting communication, meetings are regularly organized that allow them to recall their student youth, communicate in an informal atmosphere, share experiences with a new generation of graduates and graduates of our Academy.
