The Historical Development of Corruption Were Discussed at the IAPM Conference

On December 20, 2017, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Anticorruption Activities in Ukraine: Achievements, Disadvantages, Perspectives" was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Law named after Prince Volodymyr the Great of the IAPM. The working language was English.

The conference was attended by students of the Volodymyr the Great's Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and the IAPM Educational and Research Institute of International Affairs, as well as the Law and Training Institute of the Law of the National Aviation University.

In particular, they discussed the subject of corruption and its historical development in the world and Ukraine, a Ph.D. in Law, Abrih Arhum (Malaysia) and an associate professor of the Department of Constitutional Law, History and Theory of State and Law, Candidate of Law Veklik Vladislav.

Volodymyr Zarosilo, head of the Department of Security, Law Enforcement and Anti-Corruption Activities, Doctor of Law, Professor Zarosyl Volodymyr, as the founder of one of the scientific schools of the Volodymyr the Great Volodymyr's Training and Research Institute, skilfully directed the scientific potential of future scholars to the field of study of such problematic issues as the present state of corruption in Ukraine and its impact on Ukrainian society; analysis of anti-corruption legislation of Ukraine and ways of its optimization; aspects of interaction of state bodies on prevention and counteraction of corruption and civil society, etc.

According to the results of the conference it is planned to publish a collection of abstracts of scientific reports.
