Professor of Khmelnytsky Institute of AIDP received the title "Honorary Citizen of the City of Khmelnitsky"
For twelve years Khmelnytsky Institute of MAUP actively cooperates with Matviyuk Kuzma Ivanovich, one of the founders of the People's Movement of Ukraine in Khmelnitsky, the founder of the regional organization of the All-Ukrainian Society of Political Prisoners and Repressed, and also Kuzma Matviyuk, all the political persecutions of the Soviet repressive system.
Kuzma Ivanovych takes an active part in all national-patriotic activities taking place at the university, and also initiated the creation and co-chairman of the Public Committee on the 200th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko and co-organizer of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "The Taras Shevchenko's Story in the Modern cultural and geopolitical space "held at the Institute on March 12, 2014.
At the end of August 2017, a meeting of the commission of the Executive Committee of the Khmelnytsky City Council on the nomination of candidates for the title "Honorary Citizen of the City of Khmelnitsky" took place. Members of the commission from among other contenders elected Matviyuk Kuzma Ivanovich. Assigning the title "Honored Citizen of the City of Khmelnytsky" will take place on the City Day - September 23, 2017.
Biography: Matviuk Kuzma Ivanovich was born on January 2, 1941 in the village of Ilyashevka, Starokonstantinovsky district, Khmelnytsky region. Kuzma Ivanovich is a public figure. Became one of the initiators and leaders of the cultural society "Heritage" in the city of Khmelnytsky, regional organizations of the Ukrainian language society. T.G. Shevchenko He was a deputy to the constituent assembly of the People's Movement of Ukraine, and since 1990 has headed the regional organization of the National Assembly, was co-chair of the regional organization. In 1993, with a group of activists, he created the regional organization of the All-Ukrainian Society of Political Prisoners and Repressed. He was the chairman of the regional organization "URP-Sobor", as well as the chairman of the public organization "Protection of native land". Matviuk K.I. - a member of the Central Council of Veterans and a regional branch of the All-Ukrainian Association of Veterans. In 2014, by the decision of the Presidium of the International Personnel Academy, Matviuk K.I. was awarded the title "Honorary Professor".
