Sports Olympus of IAPM Students
On 9 of March, the second open track and field athletics race dedicated to the days of Kobzar "Danube Spring" was launched from the monument to the Danube sailors.
The race was initiated by the club of amateur running "Suvorovets" and the city department of physical culture and sports.
76 participants from 7 to 73 years of age from Ishmael, Odessa, Lviv, Kiev and Bakhmach (Chernihiv region) participated in the race. Most athletes were from Ishmael.
At the solemn opening of "Danube Spring", the main judge of the competition, Volodymyr Burlakov, Deputy Mayor Serhiy Batkilin and in. at. Head of Department of Physical Culture and Sport of the City Council Tetyana Moriy. They wished athletes victory, good mood and further success in the field of conquest of new distances.
Participants fled on three distances: 3, 6 and 15 kilometers.
