Startup of the new computer game "The Place of Power"

Student of the IAPM Danube branch Nikolay Chumakov, computer science teacher Oksana Ryaschenko and director of Danube branch Tamara Gumennikova took part in the startup of a new computer game "The Place of Power" by a documentary film, authored by a resident of the village Krynichne Tetyana Staneva.

The first workshop on developing a computer game about the village Krynichne "The Place of Power" was prepared by students and teachers of Krynichne's secondary school. The sponsor is Center for the Development of Bessarabia.

This project, the author of which is the teacher of the IAPM, Oksana Ivanivna, is even larger than the film, and will involve many people and material: "Here, if you wish, you can put all the material that we could not accommodate in 100 minutes of the movie! The main idea and purpose of the project is to teach the children of the Krynychanskoy school of programming and to create with their teachers a product that they can use at the lessons! "

So, on March 9, at the Izmail State University, with the help of the teachers of the Odessa National Polytechnic University, with the support of the Center for the Development of Bessarabia, a scientific and practical conference was held, where everyone became acquainted with the concept, basic concepts and types of computer games.

The theme of the game pedagogy was illuminated by the doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, the director of the Danubian branch of the IAPM Tamara Gumnikova, who announced the course "Cultural Code of the Bulgarians of the Danube". Associate Professor of the Department of Information Activity and Media Communications of ONPU Tetyana Lugova acted as consultant on designing computer systems at the event. Yuliya Troyanovskaya, Senior Lecturer of the Information Systems Department of ONPU, the Head of the School of Game Information Systems and Added Reality, told about the peculiarities of designing applications of the augmented reality. In conclusion, the author the idea of ​​Oksana Ryaschenko the presentation gave. She presented her methodical recommendations for creating didactic computer games and introduced the concept of the project series of games "Place of Power".

During the second part of the seminar were presented presentations of projects developed by the youth of Bessarabia. So, the 3rd year student of IAPM Mykola Chumakov introduced the mobile application "From the Treasures of the Bulgarian Chest". 5th year students of the Institute of Computer Systems of ONPU Maxim Orlov and Nikolay Yakimenko presented the work "Features of the creation of the ethnographic appendix", and the student of the 1 st year of the Institute of Computer Systems ONPU Anton Androsov and students of Izmail secondary school № 10 Ya. Masteryuk, N. Minkovsky and A Khrustalev shared observations on the peculiarities of creating applications on the example of football (dance elements) and virtual piano. Dmitry Budur, a student of the 9th grade of the Izmail School №10, introduced his project "The Long Way to the Motherland".

Then the schoolchildren were offered a three-hour master class on the design and development of ethnographic applications whose main purpose is to interest the topic of future programmers and give them the opportunity to try themselves in programming.
