Students of the Academy honored Kruty heroes
This week Ukrainians honor the fallen in late January 1918 in a battle near Kruty. Then the Kiev cadets entered an unequal battle with the unit of the Russian Red Guard under the leadership of Mikhail Muravev.
IAPM students are actively involved in the celebration of this event. And this time also did not miss the anniversary date. Arthur Mamonov, the head of the student council of the IAPM, visited the memorial complex "In Memory of Heroes of Kruty", which is near the village of Pamyatne Borznyansky district of Chernihiv region. It consists of the monument of the Battle of Kruty, the symbolic grave-barrow, the chapel, the lake in the form of a cross, a museum exposition, located in old railway cars. The museum tells about the heroic page of Ukrainian military history - a battle near Kruty.
