May 19 students of the Academy went on an excursion to the picturesque corner of Ukraine - a landscape park in the village of Buki Skvirsky district of the Kiev region!

Landscape park Buki - these are pretty landscapes and unexpected architectural solutions with a lot of sculptures, waterfalls, arbors, tree-lanterns, a dam with wooden paths, a temple complex. The idea of creating a heavenly corner belongs to the General Director of the agro-corporation "Skvira" Ivan Suslov. Realizing his dream, Ivan Nikolaevich built a Temple complex with a landscape park, a block of guest castles and a family-type children's home. The main purpose is the creation of a large family and the spiritual development of children who could visit their father's house when they grow up.

Excursion to the park began with the temple complex, which was built in 1999 by the architect Y. Babich on the river Rostovovitsa. According to the guide, the complex is considered a monument of charity, strength of spirit and architectural art. Then the tourists saw the Cross of Memory in honor of all those who died for our country in the Second World War (1941-1945). Walking along the central square with a blooming alley, everyone could see the fountain "Friendship of Peoples", which until the 90s was adorned with the Independence Square.

«He would have turned into scrap metal, if Suslov had not saved him. In 2007, he achieved that the fountain was transferred to the village of Buki, as a relic of the Ukrainian people. And in 2011 they celebrated the opening of the fountain. Many forces and skills had to be applied to restore and put this giant into operation," - the guide told the students.

To get into the fairy-tale world of a landscape park and see a small Venice with its mythical griffins, the students had to go through a dam with a waterfall. This unique area attracts by the fact that passing through a dam creates the effect that a person walks simply on the water, because the iron tracks, through which it is necessary to pass, are located very close to the water.

Further, IAPM students went to the fairy-tale alley, where you can see massive fairy-tale oaks, pegasus, dragons, pirates, octopuses, storks and gnomes. And the sightseers were pleasantly impressed by the mini-zoo, in which bears, lion, sheep, deer and pheasants live.

During the tour, the guide invited students to visit places where you can make a wish. The first place is a gazebo with a blue angel who holds a stone in his hands. This stone was brought from Israel, from the very place where Jesus turned water into wine and blessed the lovers for true love and the continuation of the human race. Today this stone is considered a wedding, and therefore there is a legend that having touched it and making a wish for love and creating a family, it will come true! The second place is on the bank of the river of Rostavitsa. Here on the rocky mountain sits a family of frogs-piggy banks, personifying well-being and prosperity. To the toad did not choke, and that the money in the family were, you need to throw her a coin. And the third place is a desire stone with an eye-triangle, which you need to rub with your hand and make any wish.

And after an interesting excursion students in their free time skated on catamarans and enjoyed the scenery and beauty of the park.
