A round table discussion was held at the Chernigiv Institute of MAUP "The Holodomor of 1932-1933 - Our Sorrow and Sorrow"
On November 22, 2017, students and teachers of the Chernihiv Institute of MAUP participated in the roundtable "The Holodomor of 1932-1933 - Our Sorrow and Sorrow" dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holodomor.
In the premises of the Chernihiv Oblast Universal Scientific Library. VG Korolenko within the framework of national events held a scientific roundtable entitled "The Holodomor of 1932-1933 is our sadness and grief."
Utiro N.O. addressed the participants to the round table. - a librarian of the Department of Humanities Documents, who emphasized the importance of knowing the history of Ukraine and the horrible times of 1932-33. At the beginning of the meeting, participants were offered a video review of the Holodomor of 1932-1933. Leading experts on this issue, teachers and students of higher educational institutions of Chernihiv participated in the round table. There were heard a number of reports that exposed the Bolshevik regime as criminal, called the specific organizers of the Holodomor and its causes - the attempt to destroy the Ukrainian nation, arranging genocide through the Holodomor. The reports were delivered by representatives of the Chernigiv Institute of MAUP - Candidate of Sciences, Assoc. Yampolets P.V. and a third-year student Krivchenko AM
Participants presented a book exposition "The Sorrowful Memory of the Candle Lights", which gave an opportunity to feel the terrible tragic atmosphere of the criminal power of the totalitarian Soviet system.
The event contributed to establishing the historical truth about the terrible tragedy of the Ukrainian people, which should never be repeated, and is intended to preserve the memory of everyone who died in the years of hunger terror.
