Memory is an endless book that records everything: human life and country life. Many pages are written in blood red. You read - and you shudder in terror. Particularly striking are the pages where the words about hunger are etched. There is no worse death than a slow death from starvation. And so almost all of Ukraine died.

The best went down to the grave of famine. Hard working independent owners were killed. All capable, talented, healthy in mind and body, who thought and protested - all this was rooted out.

The fourth Saturday in November in our country is a commemoration of the victims of imperial violence against Ukrainians, including the Holodomor of 1932-1933.

On November 23, every Conscious Ukrainian, on Memorial Day, will light a candle of memory on the windowsill to be seen by the stars - the souls of the dead.

Everyone has to look back in the past. We need to understand our own past, understand it, because history repeats itself. And when people do not draw conclusions today, they will walk in circles. Therefore, one has to look back to cry because it is repentance. And the most important is to understand.
