April 19 in the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management held the most anticipated dance event of this academic year - "Dancing with teachers-2017".

The festival of dance began with inspirational words of the leading:

«Welcome, dear friends, on the holiday of spring! Finally she walked confidently on her native Ukrainian land. Mother Nature is ready for any surprises, including the weather of the Easter week - this is proof, some where even the snow fell. And the participants of the contest program "Dancing with teachers" join the beautiful spring dance of nature. Let our holiday also give all spring cheerful emotions, good mood and spring health ".

The fanfares began to sound and the participants' performance began. Leaders talked about the preferences and hobbies of the contestants. And the pairs were like this:

  • Student of the Advertising Institute Alena Samoshchenko and head of the design department of the Advertising Institute Sergei Chirchik;
  • Specialist of the department of extracurricular work of the IAPM Alina Lovenchuk and student of the Institute of Social Sciences and Self-Government Mikhail Shumivoda;
  • Specialist of the department of extracurricular work of IAPM Radmila Cherednichenko and student of the Institute of Law Nikolay Shevchenko;
  • Lecturer of the Institute of Law and Economic and Legal College at IAPM, the chief specialist in educational work Anna Kurtakova and student of EPT at IAPM Ilya Timoshenko;
  • The teacher of musical art in the training and educational complex "Prestige" at the IAPM Ekaterina Popovich and the pupil of the third class of UVK "Prestige" Daniil Gritsenko.

After the presentation of the participants, the presenters announced the rules of the competition. In particular, the contest participants could be dancing couples consisting of a representative of the administrative or teaching staff of the Academy and a student. Each training unit could provide one or more pairs for participation. The contest program consisted of two numbers: the first performance - the execution of the waltz fragment, it was mandatory for all, the second - arbitrary. The requirements for the second performance were: the duration of the number is no more than two minutes, the storyline was to be observed in the production.

Therefore, the tension grew and the pair started the first round of the competition. The Viennese waltz sounded and the competitors took turns in a fairy tale. The female part was dressed in luxurious ball gowns, it seemed participants at the time of the performance forgot that they are on the competitive stage, and are circling under the high ceiling of the opera. The mandatory part of the competition was flawless, the audience exploded with stormy applause and led the couples to prepare for the continuation with undiminished and grateful smiles.

The second competitive test was "Arbitrary compositions", in which couples had the opportunity to combine acting and dance skills with the plot line. Contestants were transformed into completely different images: those fairy-tale figures or heroes of movies. Alena Samoshchenko and Sergei Chirchik demonstrated an arbitrary composition "Creative explosion". A real fairy tale story on the floor was created by Alina Lovenchuk and Mikhail Shumivoda. Radmila Cherednichenko and Nikolay Shevchenko reincarnated in the heroes of the movie "12 Chairs" by Ostap Bender and Ellochka Ogre. Anna Kurtakova and Ilya Timoshenko were amazed by the masterful performance of the dance "Khava Nagila". And Catherine Popovich and Daniil Gritsenko danced a real gypsy dance!

The jury was very difficult to determine the winners, however, the Nominations were distributed as follows:

"Prize of sympathies of the jury" was given to Radmila Cherednichenko and Nikolai Shevchenko;

Alina Lovenchuk and Mikhail Shumivoda received the "People's Choice Award";

"The best artistic couple" recognized Anna Kurtakov and Ilya Timoshenko;

"The best technical pair" were elected Catherine Popovich and Daniil Gritsenko.

The winners of the Grand Prix of the contest "Dancing with Teachers-2017" were the couple Alena Samoshchenko and Sergei Chirchik.

All the couples received diplomas of the contest participants and incentive prizes.
