In the Khmelnytsky Institute of IAPM celebrated World Tourism Day
September 26, 2017 the meeting of the round table "Tourism and tourist resources of Khmelnitskiy" dedicated to the World Tourism Day, was held in the Khmelnitsky Institute of IAPM.
The scientific event was attended by representatives of state and public institutions (O. Demchuk, director of TC USLAD, chairman of the Agency for Sustainable Development "ASTAR", A. Pogorilets, director of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve "Medzhybozh", E. Gap, Head of the Khmelnytsky branch of PJSC Commercial Industrial Bank, N. Gnatyuk, head of the public organization "Fund for Sustainable Development" Staraya Volyn, I. Solyar, director of the tourist enterprise "Solyar-tour", M. Bavorovsky, director of tourism "Raizen Tour", T. Shmal, Head of the Sector of Literature on Agriculture of Khmelnytsky Regional Universal Scientific Library, P. Novak, Director of Khmelnytsky branch of PJSC "KIY-AVIA", B. Pazhimsky, Director State Historical and Cultural Reserve "Samchiks"; E. Danilova, Senior Researcher of the Khmelnytsky Regional Museum of Local Lore; N. Strelbitsky, Director of the Nika Tour Tourist Company; O. Rozhkova, director of the tourist firm "Mir-tour" etc.), teachers and pupils of general education schools. Khmelnitsky (UVK №10, secondary school №13, NG №28, Н ВК 9, gymnasium №2), teachers and students of the Khmelnytsky Economic and Law College and the Institute of IAPM.
The conference began with an introductory speech by Valentina Parandy, director of the Khmelnytsky Economic and Law College of the IAPM. V. Parandiy in the speech noted about the advantages of training students in the specialty "tourism". She emphasized that during the training the students have the opportunity to listen to lectures, participate in scientific and practical events of well-known Ukrainian scientists and practitioners of the tourist business. The scientific meeting continued with interesting speeches by the heads of museum institutions and tourist firms in Khmelnitsky, which addressed the problems and prospects for the development of domestic and outbound tourism.
O. Demchuk, director of TC USLAD, noted in his report on the work in the tourism industry that this is a good chance to get into a world full of exotic travel, fascinating events and vivid impressions, communication with interesting people, opportunities to see and learn other countries. He invited for cooperation with the educational institution with the travel agency ASTAR. He offered to attract students to practice in them, takes place with participation in international programs, that is, parallel training or internship in universities of other countries with the possibility of further employment.
During the work of the scientific meeting, a book exhibition "Tourism Resources of the Khmelnytsky Region" (organizer - Khmelnytsky Regional Universal Scientific Library) worked.
