Congratulations to Anna Gidzhelitska on victory in the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad on Civil Protection!
On March 21-22, 2019, the 2nd stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad on the discipline "Civil Protection" took place on the basis of the Department of Civil and Industrial Safety of the Faculty of Ecological Security, Engineering and Technologies.
93 students participated in the Olympiad, representing 34 institutions of higher education from Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Lutsk, Lviv, Nikolaev, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy, Rivne and Kharkiv regions of Ukraine.
The rector Volodymyr Isaenko opened the Olympiad, wished the participants an effective competition and emphasized the importance of studying the problems associated with the current state of civil security. With the wish of good success to the participants of the Olympiad, Vice-rector on international cooperation and education, Oleksandr Zaporozhets, Senior Researcher of the Institute for the Modernization of the Content of Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Olena Dashkovskaya, and the chairman of the jury, the head of the department of the National University of Water Management and Nature Management Victor Filippchuk addressed.
The Olympiad was held in two rounds: the first one was to assess the level of theoretical knowledge of students on civil defense issues through testing, the second - to assess the practical skills and creative abilities of the participants.
Awarded and congratulated the winners deputy FEBIT Sergey Boychenko, encouragement letters and gratitude were handed over by Dmytro Pikhalo - from the Kyiv city state administration, Andriy Prussky - from the State Emergency Service, Yuriy Kulish - from the Kharkiv Operative Rescue Service.
