Ambassador’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan first visit to the IAPM
On April 3, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Ukraine Mr. Nurberdy Amanmuradov made a visit to the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. The visit took place on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the Academy’s foundation.
His Excellency met with Academy’s Chancellor Mr. Anatoliy Podoliaka and Provost for International Relations – Director General of the IAPM’s International Open University Mr. Ihor Piliayev. The talk held concerned promising lines of cooperation in the educational, scientific and cultural areas, conditions of and opportunities for studies at the Academy of Turkmen students. The Parties emphasized during the talk that the Academy’s graduates are awarded state-recognized degrees conforming to the national standards for training of bachelors and masters according to the quotas allocated by the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine. Possible activities include, as it turned out, joint running scientific, cultural, artistic, and sporting events, as well as collaboration in the field of publishing.
In the course of his visit, Mr. Ambassador got acquainted with the Academy’s training complex, its facilities and the International Information and Library Center and the Teleuniversity.
In particular, His Excellency Mr. Ambassador attended the exhibition “Academy’s Peoples Day,” where students of other countries of the world familiarized their Ukrainian colleagues, as well as professors and instructors, Academy’s staff members and guests with their cultures displaying art objects, ornaments, folk costumes, everyday objects etc. The participants of the Turkmen and Ukrainian displays treated the highly distinguished guest to national Turkmen and Ukrainian dishes. It should be noted that the Academy already trains seventeen students from Turkmenistan, who worthily represented their country at the exhibition.
