IAPM delegation took part in the international education services conference in Japan
International education services conference took place in the capital of Japan on March 6 to 8, where around 50 Japanese agent companies and 39 educational institutions from around the world were represented.
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the IAPM Mr George Shchokin and Mr. Ihor S. Piliayev, IAPM Provost for International Relations and Director General of the International Open University took part in the composition of the IAPM delegation.
Conference was preceded by a series of seminars devoted to peculiarities of Japanese educational system and specific character of working in the local market of educational services. During the conference took place negotiations of IAPM delegation with a number of Japanese companies showing interest in cooperation with Ukraine. Japanese partners showed particular interest in the proposal to do language training in Ukraine. The delegation had a good opportunity to learn best practice of the Land of the Rising Sun in the higher educational system.
On their way back home conference participants learned distressful news about the immense natural disaster in Japan. With pain in their hearts Academy delegation expressed condolence and words of support to the people of Japan and everybody who suffered from natural disaster, and hopes for rapid overcome of the disaster aftermath.
