Results of the education rating «Compass-2012»

The results of the rating of Ukrainian tertiary institutions “Compass-2012” were published recently. Company “System Capital Management” (SCM) initiated the “Compass” rating. The rating ranks institutions of higher education based on opinions given by graduates and employers in terms of compliance of the level of educational services with the labor market requirements.
Just as last year, 234 higher education institutions took part in the rating. They train students in the areas of “Business economics,” “Architecture and construction,” “Law.” “IT and engineering and technical specialties.” Grades were assigned by 1,156 graduates and 845 employing companies, as well as representatives from 341 leading expert companies.

Based on the rating results, the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” won the lead; T. Shevchenko Kyiv National University was second, while Kyiv National Economic University and Kyiv-Mohyla Academy shared the third rank.

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management is part of a group of higher education establishments that shared the rating’s 10th place.

As a managerial tertiary institution, the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management was 9th among the tertiary institutions that train students in legal professions, and 10th among those, which train future economists.
Such a rank is indicative of public recognition and quality workmanship of an educational establishment.
