Regulations on the Center of organization of practice, employment of students and graduates.

1. General provisions

1.1. Center of the organization of practice, employment of students and alumni (hereinafter – the Center) is a structural unit of Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (hereinafter – the Academy).

1.2. The Center is headed by a director who is appointed and dismissed by the Rector of the Academy with the agreement of the Head of Supervisory Board.

13. The structure and staffing of the Centre approved by the Rector of the Academy with the agreement of the Head of Supervisory Board.

1.4. Centers' work is guided by current legislation of Ukraine, according to specifics of the Center, Academy Charter, decisions of the Supervisory Board, Academy regulations, orders, decisions and orders of leadership of the Academy and this Charter. 

2. Tasks and functions

2.1. Organization of practices for students of all specialties and all forms of education in Presidential University (hereinafter - PU) and Faculties Postgraduate Education at IAPM (hereinafter - FPE), promoting employability of students and graduates of the Academy, providing feedback from graduates.

2.2. Ensuring academic units PU and FPE Academy with bases for the passage of the student practices provided timely submission of documents for the organization of practice (according to the "Regulations on the practice of IAPM students ", to the order of 17.01.05 No. 04-on) from academic units PU and FPE.

2.3. Organization of work on civil contract with enterprises, institutions, organizations for practical training of students of the Academy.

2.4. Informing the academic units PU and FPE on ensuring the Bureau with the schedules of practice and documentation necessary for its organization.

2.5. Advising heads of practice from institutions, organizations and representatives of all-Ukrainian University and International Open University.

2.6. Advising students and graduates on employment and internship opportunities.

2.7. Ensuring and monitoring of passing the practices by students in the academic units PU and FPE.

2.8. Execution of documents necessary for payroll for managers practice from the enterprise after the end of practice.

2.9. Facilitating the employment of graduates and students of the Academy.

2.10. Search and selection of candidates among students and graduates of the Academy for timely replacement of vacancies in the Academy.

2.11. Formation of the database of graduates of the Academy for further cooperation in organization of new jobs for graduates of IAPM and organization of practices for students of IAPM.

2.12. Establishing contacts with potential employers for the purpose of further employment of students and graduates of the Academy, creation of the database of available vacancies for practical training in enterprises and organizations, led by graduates of IAPM.

2.13. Work on attracting graduates to continue their studies at the Academy.

2.14. Attracting graduates to participate in general academic activities, seminars, conferences, round tables, lectures with the aim of raising the general educational level.

2.15. Mutual aid of members of the Centre in passage practice, finding a creative approach to it, cooperation with graduates of the Academy.

2.16. Creation and maintenance of WEB pages to inform graduates of IAPM.

2.17. Providing graduates of the Academy with discount cards.

2.18. Conducting and organization of celebration each year. 

3. Structure and Management

3.1. Structure, quantity and list of staff members of the Centre is formed in accordance with its objectives and functions and approved by Rector of the Academy with the agreement of the Head of Supervisory Board. 

The Center is headed by a Director who is appointed and dismissed by Rector of the Academy with the agreement of the Supervisory Board and Head of submission of Senior Economist-Director of the Agency of auditing and business information. 

3.2. Director of the Center:

3.2.1. Supervises all activities of the Centre.

3.2.2. Acquaints employees with decisions of the Academy headship, concerning the activities of the Centre.

3.2.3. Participates in meetings regarding the activities of the Centre.

3.2.4. Participates in discussions regarding executive functions of the Centre.

3.2.5. Submits to the Academy headship proposals to improve work of the Centre and comments on its activities.

3.2.6. Publishes orders and monitors their implementation.

3.2.7. Establishes contacts with potential employers for the purpose of further employment of students and graduates of the Academy, creation of a database on the availability of vacancies for practical training in enterprises and organizations.

3.2.8. Working to attract graduates to continue studies at the Academy. 

3.3 Leading Specialist

3.3.1. Leading specialist subordinates to Director of the Centre.

3.3.2. Leading specialist conducts activities related to the Alumni Club.

3.3.3. Organized relationship and mutual aid with graduates and students of the Academy.

3.3.4. Supports WEB page of the Alumni Club.

3.3.5. Organizes and searches suggestions to improve work of the Centre.

3.3.6. Performs tasks assigned by Director of the Centre and makes its own suggestions.

3.3.7. Participates in discussions about improving work of the Alumni Club.

3.3.8. Works on providing APM graduates with discount cards.

3.3.9. Encourages graduates to continue studies at the Academy.

3.3.10. Provides constant communication between alumni and the Academy to create a database of graduates. 

4. Organization of work and interaction with other departments

4.1. Employees of the Center exercise their rights and fulfill obligations under the Agency Statute, that meets job description.

4.2. Center employees accept responsibility for the execution of the duties and using of their rights.

4.3. For the organization of promotion employment, the candidate should:

Pay in the cashier of the Academy 8 (eight) UAH. For services of the Employment Bureau.

Fill out a registration card (the sample).

Provide the necessary documents (CV in electronic form, one photograph (3x4 cm)).

4.4. The Center provides services for the preparation of candidates resume. For that 12 (twelve) UAH must be paid in the cashier of the Academy.

4.5. Work on employment may be terminated:

By the own wish of a candidate.

In case of violation of requirements of this rules.

In absence of any connection with a candidate for more than 4 weeks.

In case of employment. 

4.6. For the purpose of information support of the Center, Director has right: to receive all the necessary information and materials from the structural divisions of the Academy; to attract, if necessary, appropriate specialists, scientific, pedagogical staff and other employees of structural divisions of the Academy in coordination with management; use means of information and technical support of the Academy, its material and social base for official needs, etc.

4.7. The Department of preparation of orders and cartographic database provides information about graduates and creates a database of graduates. 

5. Members of the Center, rights and responsibilities:

5.1. Membership is open to graduates of the Academy.

5.2. Members of the Center are entitled to:

Get professional advice and consultation;

Share personal experience in the range of issues that arise when solving problems of employment, professional development, etc;

Use all kinds of services provided by the Academy. 

5.3. The Center members can get the following benefits:

10% discount for education to improve their own qualification level; and for higher education of their own children in the IAPM system for any educational qualification level (high schools, colleges, institutes);

Obtaining of degree in postgraduate and doctoral at IAPM with 10% discount;

Acquisition of educational-methodical and scientific literature of Publishing house of the Academy with 10%discount;

Free use of IAPM library;

Participation in international scientific conferences, seminars with 10% discount;

Free subscription to the weekly "Staff Plus";

Entrance to the "Disco bar 119" with 50% discount, and 10% discount on the total order;

Visiting, holding an anniversary event at the restaurant “Knyazhiy” with 10% discount on the total order. 

5.4. Members of the Centre obliged to comply with the requirements of Regulation.

5.5. Members of the Centre conduct proactive work to attract new members to the Center, opening of its regional offices.

5.6. Any member of the Centre may withdraw from it after written notification to Director of the Centre.

5.7. Membership in the Center can be stopped if activity of this membership is contrary to the purposes and objectives of the Centre. 

6. Responsibility of the Center

6.1. Center Director bears personal responsibility:

For non-compliance with the laws of Ukraine, other acts, orders of the Academy;

For non-compliance with safe working conditions;

For non-compliance with organizational and financial discipline and preserving property.
