Interregional Academy of Personnel Management took part in the Forum ‘Ukraine at COP29: achievements, challenges, prospects’, organised by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine. The event was dedicated to analysing the results of Ukraine's participation in this year's 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), held in November 2024 in Baku, Azerbaijan. The forum brought together the government, business, the public and international partners to discuss Ukraine's climate achievements and challenges.
COP29 results: even in the context of war, the Ukrainian delegation is influencing global climate decisions, focusing on the environmental consequences of war and the need for a fair approach to reporting emissions from temporarily occupied territories.
The forum presented the Long-Term Low Carbon Development Strategy (LT-LEDS) – a roadmap for Ukraine's decarbonisation by 2050, aligned with the EU's climate goals and the Paris Agreement.
