Discussion of Current Challenges and Prospects for Regional Economic Development Under Martial Law Held at the Khmelnytskyi Institute of IAPM
On April 15, 2025, the Khmelnytskyi Institute of IAPM hosted a scientific and practical seminar entitled “Modern Managerial and Socio-Economic Aspects of the Development of the State, Regions, and Business Entities (Under Martial Law)”. The event focused on issues of sustainable development, economic resilience, and strengthening the institutional capacity of the region in the face of ongoing crisis-related challenges.
The seminar brought together representatives of national and local authorities, economists, managers, entrepreneurs, faculty members, researchers, students, and members of the local community. This cross-sectoral dialogue fostered partnerships, promoted inclusive decision-making, and consolidated joint efforts toward a shared and sustainable future.
The event served as a platform to discuss mechanisms for ensuring decent work, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), stimulating economic growth, and enhancing the competitiveness of the region. Particular attention was given to issues of financial resilience, the adaptation of businesses and public institutions to martial law conditions, and the implementation of innovation and modern management approaches.
An important dimension of the seminar was its educational component, aimed at ensuring quality education, developing professional competencies, strengthening strategic thinking skills, and preparing specialists capable of operating effectively in conditions of uncertainty. Analytical presentations also addressed psychological support and social cohesion as essential elements of sustainable recovery.
The Khmelnytskyi Institute of IAPM consistently implements outreach and community-oriented initiatives aimed at reinforcing strong institutions, promoting social responsibility, and supporting the local community. We sincerely intend to continue advancing such initiatives, contributing to the long-term sustainable development of the region.
We express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event for their commitment, professionalism, and collaborative efforts toward building a resilient, secure, and economically capable future.
