IAPM Presents Its Expertise in Improving the Educational Programme in Law Enforcement
A professional round table entitled “Ways to Improve Educational Programmes and Their Implementation in the K9 Law Enforcement Specialisation” was held at the Scientific and Technical Library of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”. The event was organised by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance.
The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) was represented by Serhii Lysenko, Director of the IAPM Educational and Research Institute of Law and Security, who participated in the event as a speaker. IAPM Vice President Mykhailo Honcharenko also took part in the round table.
The central topic of the round table was the improvement of educational programmes and their implementation within the K9 Law Enforcement specialisation.
The participants discussed current issues related to the content and practical implementation of educational programmes, the training of specialists in accordance with the current needs of the law enforcement sector, and opportunities for further development of professional competencies among higher education students.
As Director of the IAPM Educational and Research Institute of Law and Security, Serhii Lysenko presented the Academy’s perspective on the training of specialists in the field of law enforcement and contributed to the discussion on further improvement of the educational process.
The format of the event provided an opportunity to bring together representatives of public institutions, the professional community, and higher education institutions to discuss common priorities in specialist training. Alongside IAPM, the round table brought together Volodymyr Medvediev, a representative of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance; Tetiana Fomenko, a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine; Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Bohdan Morklianyk; and Oleh Dykyi, Dean of the National University “Odesa Law Academy”.
The professional discussions contributed to the exchange of experience and the development of a shared vision for the further development of the Law Enforcement specialisation.
IAPM continues to participate in professional and educational events aimed at improving the quality of higher education and contributing to the development and enhancement of educational programmes.
