Free Vision Screenings Provided at the IAPM

23 April 2026 18:34

From April 20 to 22, a mobile vision screening unit operated at our Academy once again, offering a convenient opportunity to take care of eye health right on campus without interrupting studies or work. During these days, all interested participants - students, faculty, and staff, as well as members of the local community - were able to undergo free eye examinations and receive professional consultations.

The mobile team of specialists brought modern equipment that enabled fast and accurate vision testing, helping to detect potential issues and provide personalized recommendations. For many, this was a valuable opportunity to pay attention to their eye health for the first time in a long while, particularly given the increased strain associated with the frequent use of computers and digital devices.

Throughout all three days, the mobile unit attracted strong interest. Participants shared their impressions, encouraged others to take advantage of the service, and noted how convenient and accessible the format was. Importantly, the screenings required no prior appointment and no additional time outside the Academy.

In addition to conducting examinations, the specialists also provided guidance on proper eye care, what to watch for in everyday life, and when it is important to consult a doctor. This approach helped many participants better understand their health and reflect on the importance of prevention.

The Academy administration sincerely thanks the mobile vision screening team for their professionalism and willingness to collaborate. We hope that such initiatives will become a lasting tradition and continue to promote a culture of health awareness within our academic community.
