Cap Hensley had a motivational meeting with students and worked through several practical situations:

  1. Tourists get lost in an unfamiliar city.
  2. Emigrants are looking for a job.
  3. The work of lawyers in the English-speaking country.

The communication was extremely interesting and informative. The students decided to submit an application form to the US Embassy in Ukraine and to invite a Peace Corps volunteer to work at the Khmelnitsky Institute of IAPM.

Volunteers teach English at secondary schools, universities and pedagogical colleges and provide training at postgraduate institutes of teacher training. By applying student-centered teaching methods, volunteers work with Ukrainian teachers to improve the learning process and pedagogy.

These methods lead to improved English language learning, civics education and other skills that will help students succeed in both their further education and in their future careers.
