IAPM faculty members complete International Academic Internship in Latvia
Faculty members of the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance at the Educational and Research Institute of Management, Economics and Business of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) have completed an international academic internship under the programme “Innovative Educational Technologies: European Experience and Its Implementation in the Training of Specialists in Economics and Management.”
The internship took place at the Baltic Research Institute for Problems of Transformation of the Economic Space in Riga, Latvia. The programme was attended by Sviatoslav Khimych, Ruslan Lytovchenko and Viktor Pyroh, who hold PhD degrees.
The programme comprised 180 hours (6 ECTS credits). During the internship, the participants studied European approaches to organising the educational process, modern distance learning technologies, and approaches to developing and using teaching and methodological materials.
An important component of the programme was research activity. Following the internship, the faculty members prepared and published research papers addressing current issues in economics, management and education.
The knowledge and experience gained during the programme can be applied in the IAPM educational process, particularly in teaching finance-related disciplines and improving students’ practical training.
International professional development programmes for faculty members are one of the areas of academic cooperation and educational exchange, providing opportunities to explore contemporary approaches to the training of specialists in economics and management.
