On 22 June 2026, the Global Sustainable Development Congress 2026 (GSDC 2026) officially commenced in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Congress is one of the world's most influential platforms dedicated to sustainable development, higher education, research, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration.

From 22 to 25 June, more than 5,000 representatives of universities, governments, international organisations, businesses, and civil society from over 120 countries are gathering to discuss pathways towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), exchange best practices, and build new international partnerships.

Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) is represented at the Congress by Andrii Bozhkov, Head of the International Cooperation Office, who is actively participating in the event's networking and partnership-building activities.

During the first days of the Congress, a series of meetings were held with representatives of higher education institutions and educational organisations from the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of India, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the People's Republic of China, the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Republic of South Africa.

As a result of these meetings, preliminary agreements were reached on the development of new academic and research initiatives, as well as on expanding the Academy's network of international partners.

For Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, participation in the Global Sustainable Development Congress 2026 provides an important opportunity to showcase its achievements in sustainable development, strengthen its international presence, expand cooperation with leading universities worldwide, and contribute to the global dialogue on the future of higher education.
