SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION «INNOVATIONS IN THE TREATMENT OF NEUROLOGICAL PAIN»
On 23 November 2023, the Institute of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (Kyiv) hosted a scientific and practical conference with international participation “Innovations in the Treatment of Neurological Pain”, which was held jointly with the All-Ukrainian Association for Neurology and Reflexology, the Higher School of Internal Security (Lodz, Republic of Poland) and Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 1.
The conference was attended by 380 medical scientists, doctors and nurses involved in the treatment of neurological pain from different regions of Ukraine and abroad. The conference participants listened to more than 20 scientific presentations and took part in a number of seminars and workshops on reflexology, blockade techniques and other methods of treating neurological pain.
In his welcoming speech, First Vice-Rector of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, Professor Serhii Khrapatyi, greeted the conference participants and wished them fruitful work. Director of the Institute of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Natalia Sviridova, in her report “Acute pain and its complications: diagnosis and treatment”, introduced the doctors to the latest global achievements in the field of therapeutic management of patients with pain as of 2023.
