Visiting lecture by Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management Krystal G.O. at Gdańsk University of Technology, Poland

As regards international academic mobility under the Erasmus+ programme, Dr. Halyna Krystal, Professor, Head of the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, visited Gdańsk University of Technology, Poland.
As part of her academic activities, a series of lectures was held for students and staff on 13-17 October 2025, during which a number of relevant topics of digital transformation, financial innovation and entrepreneurship were discussed, namely:
- FinTech – current trends, risks and development prospects (discussed the current state of the FinTech industry, potential threats to cybersecurity, regulatory challenges and future directions for technology development in the financial sector)
- Promising areas of application for digital technologies in banking (the use of big data, cloud technologies, mobile banking and the impact of digitalisation on the efficiency of banking services were considered)
- Digital innovations in robotics: technological advancement, process automation, and financial prospects for the application of artificial intelligence (discussed the role of robotics and AI in the transformation of business processes, automation opportunities in manufacturing and the financial sector)
- Successful startup: from idea to deployment (considered the main stages of startup development, building a business model, attracting investment and ways to enter international markets) The visit contributed to the active exchange of experience, strengthening the partnership between the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management and Gdańsk University of Technology, as well as improving the quality of the educational process in accordance with European standards of higher education.
