Round table with the leaders of the HEI Zhytomyr region
On December 6, 2019, a round table was held at the Ivan Franko Zhytomyr State University with the heads of the Zhytomyr Oblast HEI and guarantors of educational programs “Accreditation of educational programs: a new paradigm”, in which the deputy director for scientific and methodological work, Ph.D. Professor of the Zhytomyr Institute IAPM Tsyganenko G.V.
The speakers were representatives of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education, namely: Deputy Chairman of the Agency Ivan Nazarov, head of the secretariat Mikhail Vinnitsky and head of the legal support department Alexander Khimenko.
At the meeting, issues of the Regulation on the accreditation of educational programs, guidelines for accreditation experts were considered, advice was given on how to implement self-assessment of educational programs, the beginning of centers for the internal quality assurance of educational services in Ukrainian HEIs.
The relevance of the topic of the meeting raised a number of questions from the audience, which related to the algorithms for accrediting educational programs and organizing the educational process in accordance with amendments to the Law on Higher Education.
