Memorial-artistic action "Remember..."

The 8th of May is a special date in Ukraine, because the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation (in memory of victims of the Second World War and reconciliation between the countries participating in the Second World War) is celebrated on this day. On this day in 1945, the Anti-Hitler Coalition officially adopted the "Act of unconditional surrender" of the armed forces of Nazi Germany.

In the Ukrainian lands, the Second World War lasted 1225 days and nights, from June 22, 1941 to October 28, 1944. In Ukraine, every sixth citizen was killed.

During the memorial-artistic action "Remember...", which traditionally took place at the Academy on May 8, its presenter, the head of the Student Council of the University Taras Besarab, reminded the audience of the terrible figures of losses and bitter facts of the war that lasted for 6 years and which was 67 states, 80% of the world's population are involved.

The action ended with a concert, during which students Volodymyr Zinchenko, Yana Andrienko, Oleksiy Oliynyk, Anna Knyka, Veronika Tkachenko, Aleksander Kelbas and academic secretary of the specialized academic council Tetiana Arifhodzhayeva performed songs written during the Second World War or devoted to it.
