International Student Scientific Conference of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law
09.04.2019, on the basis of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law of the Educational and Research Institute of Law, there was held an annual International Student Scientific Conference "Actual issues of the international legal system of human rights protection". The organizing committee of the conference is presented:
- Head of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor Litvinenko Victor Ivanovich;
- Deputy Head of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law, Doctor of Philosophy in Law, Professor of ICA Shashkova-Zhuravel Iryna Aleksandrivna;
- Professor of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law, Doctor of Philosophy in Law, Professor of ICA Kisilevich-Chornoyanov Olga Mikhaylivna.
The conference was attended by students of I, II, IV courses and masters of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law. The speakers presented their own research on the development of human rights mechanisms within different regions of the world and in relation to certain categories of persons. The substantive analytical report was presented by an invited guest from Malaysia - Ahmed Abrene, who is a candidate for a Ph.D. in Law Philosophy. His profound scientific research, the results of which can be further applied in lawmaking, presented the student of the IV course Oleksandr Fursa.
The working languages of the conference were Ukrainian and English. According to the results of the scientific event, the publication of the abstracts of the International Scientific and Practical Conference is planned.
