A scientific and practical seminar was held: "YEDKI as a modern tool for assessing the quality of knowledge of applicants for the OPP "Law" of the second (master's) level of higher education of the Khmelnytsky Institute of IAPM"
On September 19, 2024, as part of the meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council, a scientific and practical seminar was held: "YEDKI as a modern tool for assessing the quality of knowledge of applicants for the OPP "Law" of the second (master's) level of higher education of the Khmelnytsky Institute of MAUP."
The purpose of the training and practical seminar: to monitor and analyze the results of passing the Unified State Qualification Examination (USQE) by applicants for the Law School of the second (master's) level of higher education of the Khmelnytsky Institute of the IAPM in order to improve the training system and increase the level of knowledge. At the end of last year, on November 30 and December 20, the Unified State Qualification Examination (USQE) for graduates of the law master's degree was held. Let us recall that the USQE, as a form of final certification, was held for the first time, since it had been postponed several times before due to various circumstances.
The Unified State Qualification Examination (USQE) in law is a mandatory component of the certification of second-level (master's) education applicants in the specialty 081 "Law". Only the presence of a successfully completed USQE serves as the basis for issuing a document on higher education and awarding the qualification of Master of Laws/International Law.
The purpose of the USQE is to assess the level of professional and subject competencies necessary for the effective performance of professional activities in the chosen specialty.
Based on the results of the USQE on November 30, 2023, the expert commission set the threshold at 37 correct answers out of 109 test tasks. This eliminated 10.6% of those who took the USQE. These individuals who did not pass the threshold and those who, due to various circumstances, were unable to participate in the testing on November 30, had the opportunity to retake the USQE on December 20, 2023. The specified threshold level is 31.3%.
The Khmelnytsky Institute of the IAPM has an effective system of preparation for the Unified Comprehensive State Exam. All students of the Khmelnytsky Institute of the IAPM have passed the Unified Comprehensive State Exam, currently we have a 100% result and we hope that the hard work of students and teachers will only qualitatively improve the result.
In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 98 dated 01/26/2024 “On Approval of the Schedule for the Unified State Qualification Exam in 2024”, two dates for the Unified State Qualification Exam in Law 2024 have been determined:
November 21, 2024 - taking the exam;
December 5, 2024 - retaking the exam.
The Department of Law and Law Enforcement Activities has improved its staff and material and technical base in the current academic year. In particular, I received a forensic suitcase as a gift from the Khmelnytsky Scientific Research Expert Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
