Won in the final of the International Startup Competition «TourSystemUkrChallenge»
On March 25, 2026, students of the Department of Tourism Organization of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Management, Economics and Business Kononenko Kateryna and Lyhyrda Anastasiia won (III place) in the final of the International Startup Competition "TourSystemUkrChallenge", which was held at the State University of Trade and Economics (Department of Hotel and Restaurant Business Management) with the startup "GreenTrail Energy" (scientific supervisor - Head of the Department, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Kryvoberets M.M.).
"GreenTrail Energy" is an initiative to create energy hubs in tourist areas, aimed at ensuring their energy independence. The project helps to significantly reduce electricity costs and reduce the industry's carbon footprint by switching to renewable energy sources. The proposed hub sharing model makes clean energy accessible to small and medium-sized tourism businesses, while laying the foundation for sustainable, safe and cost-effective development of tourism areas in the long term.
