IAPM and Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
April 30, 2026 – A Memorandum of Cooperation was officially signed between the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) and the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute – National Center of Seed Science and Cultivar Investigation of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
The document outlines a framework for developing partnerships in education and science, implementing joint research projects, and exchanging expertise in innovative educational practices. Key provisions include the establishment of a shared research infrastructure utilizing the laboratories of the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute.
Furthermore, the institutions agreed to launch joint research initiatives in food security, involving IAPM postgraduate students, doctoral candidates, and faculty alongside researchers from the Institute. The partnership also entails co-hosting annual scientific events focused on food security, engaging partner institutions, domestic stakeholders, and international collaborators.
Kyrylo Muraviov, Rector of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, and Raisa Vozhehova, Acting Director of the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute, expressed their confidence that this collaboration will be both productive and enduring, creating new strategic opportunities for the development of both institutions.
