The Educational and Scientific Institute of Psychology and Social Sciences of IAPM conducted a training for deputy directors and psychologists of local schools
A training was held to improve the knowledge of specialists in educational institutions on the prevention of domestic violence for deputy directors for educational work, social educators, psychologists, educators and social work specialists.
The training was conducted by Yana Raievska, Doctor of Psychology, Professor, Head of the Department of Psychology, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Psychology and Social Sciences, and Tetiana Volosevych, expert consultant on the development of a municipal system for preventing and combating domestic violence, Director of the Center for the Provision of Social Services.
The training gave participants the opportunity to learn more about domestic violence, myths and stereotypes, the impact of domestic violence on child development, how to conduct preventive measures in schools, etc.
