On October 26, 2023, the Khmelnytsky Institute of IAPM hosted a scientific and practical seminar with elements of the training “Self-presentation is a successful step towards a career. Resume as an effective job search tool”.

Self-presentation and resume are key elements in any job search. They help individuals demonstrate their skills, experience, and potential to employers. Self-presentation skills and a good resume can make a decisive difference in your job search and career development. Employers evaluate not only skills and experience, but also the ability to express oneself and determine how a person will fit into their team. The SpilDiya Career project is implemented by the SpilDiya Foundation with the support of DanChurchAid and funding from Danida (the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark).

Goal: to introduce the participants to one of the methods of self-presentation - resume, because successful employment depends on the ability to self-present and present your skills.

Objectives and purpose of the training: to help the training participants acquire the skills of writing and designing a personal resume; to take practical steps to design a resume in the Canva application; to teach them how to create a short self-presentation.

The event was moderated by Olena Pidluzhna-Tkach, career consultant, HR, specialist in recruitment and adaptation of personnel.

During the scientific and practical workshop, the training participants took part in various tasks aimed at learning and improving their resume writing skills. Resume writing is an important skill, especially for first-time job seekers, and this workshop contributed to their preparation.

These tasks helped to improve the participants' resume writing skills and prepare them for a successful job search. They learned how to both structure information and express their skills and achievements effectively.

We are grateful to the career counselor Ms. Olena for conducting a scientific and practical seminar with elements of training!
