As part of the study of the discipline "Public Opinion", a seminar-discussion was held on the topic "Conditions for transforming social problems-facts into objects of public opinion" under the leadership of Iryna Anatolyivna Storozhuk, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Social Disciplines (NNIPSN). It was noted that in modern society there are a significant number of social problems, but not all of them become the object of public opinion. The task of students of the specialty "Public Management and Administration" was to study the conditions under which a social fact becomes the object of active discussion and understanding by the public. Applicants made presentations on important social problems. The issues of corruption in the judicial and law enforcement system, freedom of speech, censorship on the Internet, bullying, gender equality, and domestic violence caused a lively discussion.
