Artificial Intelligence in Modern Management

The study focuses on the potential of artificial intelligence to improve management processes and support decision-making in large organizations.

The authors examine the use of AI-based decision-support systems across different industries and functional areas. The study draws on data from the Stanford AI Index 2026, allowing the authors to analyse the level of AI adoption across various sectors.

The paper notes that the use of AI technologies varies depending on the industry and functional area. The authors identify particularly high levels of integration in the technology sector, including IT, software development, marketing and sales. At the same time, manufacturing and supply and inventory management remain among the areas with lower levels of digitalisation.

An AI-Supported Model for Management Decision-Making

One of the outcomes of the study is a conceptual AI-based management model. It combines data sources, analytical models and decision-support systems into an adaptive cycle with a feedback mechanism.

According to the authors, this approach makes it possible to consider artificial intelligence not only as a separate technological tool but also as a component of management processes.

The authors also emphasize that the effectiveness of AI use depends not only on the technological characteristics of particular solutions. Other important factors include the level of technology integration into workflows and the development of effective interaction between people and AI systems.

Practical Significance of the Study

The publication also addresses the practical aspects of scaling AI solutions in large organizations. The proposed approach can be applied to the analysis of management processes, development of decision-support systems and further digitalisation of organizations.

The study also considers the adaptation of management systems to environments in which artificial intelligence is becoming part of everyday organizational activities. This highlights the need to combine the technological capabilities of AI with the professional competencies of employees and managers.

For the academic and educational community, this topic is relevant in the context of the rapid development of digital technologies and the transformation of management approaches.

IAPM Research Activities

The publication by Oleksandr Akimov in an international academic journal contributes to the research activities of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management in the fields of public administration, digitalisation and modern management technologies.

Research into artificial intelligence and its impact on management processes is one of the areas that connects contemporary technological solutions with issues of organisation, decision-making and human potential development.

Research publications by IAPM scholars in international journals are part of the Academy’s academic activities and contribute to the international dissemination of Ukrainian research.
