On November 16, 2023, a scientific and practical seminar with elements of the training “Soft skills and leadership qualities for a successful future and career building” was held at the Khmelnytsky Institute of IAPM.
Soft skills are universal socio-psychological qualities that are not limited to a particular profession but directly affect the success of an individual. They cover a wide range of skills, such as communication, persuasion, conflict resolution, teamwork, and adaptability. These qualities can be predetermined by personality or developed through experience.
The modern labor market defines its own requirements. To become a competitive specialist, you need not only professional skills but also certain soft competencies. Acquiring soft skills is becoming a key element of a successful career, contributing to effective teamwork, solving difficult situations and positive development of professional life.
The purpose of the event is to cover the topic of soft skills and leadership qualities.
Objectives and purpose of the training: to help the participants identify their soft skills and leadership qualities; to analyze which skills they need to develop for success; to practice the Swot analysis tool.
The moderator was Olena Pidluzhna-Tkach, a certified career consultant, HR, specialist in recruitment and adaptation of personnel. Project SpilDiya Career “The project is implemented by the SpilDiya Foundation with the support of DanChurchAid and funding from Danida (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark).”
The event was held in a non-standard format with games and creative tasks. Participants had the opportunity to take part in a variety of creative tasks that contributed to the development of their creativity and joint interaction. The games and exercises were aimed at developing communication skills, solving creative tasks in a team and working on strategic challenges.
