Students of Khmelnytsky Institute honored Heroes of Kruty
On January 29, 2019, students and teachers honored the memory of the Kruty Heroes at the Khmelnytsky Institute of IAPM.
In the memory of several peoples, the story of 300 heroes killed, protecting their land from attackers. In the Ancient Greeks there were 300 Spartans in the Thermopylae, in the Georgians there were 300 Aragvets in the approaches to Tbilisi, and in the Ukrainians there were 300 Cossacks under Berestechko and 300 boys under the Kruty.
In the battle against Kruty, Kyiv students and students who in 1918 began to defend the independence of their Fatherland.
The event began with a historical reference to the battle of Kruty on January 29, 1918.
Leaders of Alina Rudenko and Maxim Bevza told the participants about the event with endings from historical documents, poetry lines - about Krut's heroes, about the battle, which for many years became one of the symbols of the struggle of the Ukrainian people for freedom and independence.
In the course of the event there was a video review: "Fight at Kruty 100 years", "Fight under the Kruty", "Social advertising - Kruty. They fought to defeat us. "
The rector of the Chapel named after the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Volodymyr Fr. Michael served a prayer for the dead at Kruty.
Attending a moment of silence, they paid tribute to the memory of the dead Ukrainian boys who gave their lives for freedom, independence and integrity of Ukraine.
