Students of Khmelnytsky College have been trained in the "School of a Modern Leader" at the Khmelnytsky City Council
April 22-26, 2019, students of the Khmelnytsky-Economics and Law College took part in an internship at the School of the Modern Leader, which took place at the Khmelnytsky City Council.
On April 22, in the small hall of Khmelnitsky City Council, the public-political studios "School of Modern Leaders" started. This time the students of colleges of Khmelnitsky took part in the training program. For the fourth time, the active young people of the city gathered to improve their knowledge and learn something new within the "School of Modern Leaders". Khmelnytsky City Mayor Oleksandr Simchyshyn congratulated the participants on their work.
"This is a draft of the Khmelnytsky City Council, which operates in parallel with other projects that demonstrate the openness of power. I am sure that you will be useful and effective time. I really want to believe that some of you will want to choose the way for participation in the work of local self-government in the future. Through the "School of Modern Leaders", through the excursions we conduct, we develop active youth. The world was always benn driven by an active minority; if you are active, you change yourself and the world around. It is very important that you are active people and it helps us to build a new successful city and state", - said Alexander Sergiyovych.
During the first day, the students worked with representatives of "Profi Training Studio" Tetyana Staruk and Oksana Kostenko. The program provided for the brainstorming "Leader = success?" During which the participants of the studio were looking for an answer to the question whether the leader automatically was successful, created a public organization during the game and presented it to the audience. Also heard the lecture "Effective Communication Leader".
On April 26, the "Youth Center" School finished the public-political studies "School of the Modern Leader". With the completion of the curriculum, the guests were greeted by the head of the executive committee of the Khmelnytsky City Council Yulia Sabiy.
"This project is unique, in other cities there is nothing like that. The Khmelnytsky City Council is open to young people and is always ready for dialogue. We are looking for an active, creative youth who wants to cooperate and change our city and the country for the better ", - Yulia Sergiyivna emphasized.
During the last day, the participants of the studio worked with the director of the Youth Center Vladislav Hrebenyuk and the chairman of the Board of Youth NGO "Youth for the best future", psychologist Lesya Romanyuk.
Students learned to properly build a dialogue, communicate information to the interlocutor, and formed stress resistance. The trainers offered to perform the "Power of Questions" exercise, which develops respect for different perspectives, the ability to maintain dialogue, learn and share experiences in the process of communication, the ability to ask questions.
During another one "Dialogue in an Aquarium" exercise, the participants gained experience in building communication. Understand the principles of successful dialogue or negotiation.
Also, the participants of the studio talked with Anastasia Yarova, the youngest deputy of the Khmelnytsky City Council, who told about his experience in conducting an election campaign and work as a deputy. The MP said that it is important to set a goal in life and work hard on her achievements. He also emphasized the importance of working in the team and the correct recruitment of personnel.
In the end, they shared the impressions and emotions they received while attending the "School of the Modern Leader", thanking the organizers for the excellent opportunity not only to gain new knowledge, but also to meet new interesting people. Also received certificates of participation, which was presented by Julia Sabiy.
