The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management was the first Ukrainian university to use the TASK test system from Sulitest as an independent system for assessing the quality of education in the field of sustainable development. From 16 to 20 December, the first session of testing on sustainability knowledge among the Academy's undergraduate and postgraduate students was held.
Since 2023, the Sustainability Literacy Test (or Sulitest) has been a modern and internationally recognised certification system for sustainability knowledge, which is accessible and easy to implement, reliable and globally recognised, and aimed at raising awareness of university students or company employees of the basic principles of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) as a set of characteristics of a company's management, and the company's involvement in solving environmental, social and governance problems.
ESG is a set of company performance standards that socially responsible investors use to screen potential investments. Environmental criteria determine how a company protects the environment. Social criteria examine how a company manages its relationships with employees, suppliers, customers and society as a whole. Corporate governance concerns the company's management, executive compensation, audit, internal controls and shareholder rights.
ESG is a set of three parameters according to which companies manage sustainable development.
Based on the results of the TASK test, undergraduate and postgraduate students were assessed according to three ESG criteria. It is worth noting that 25% of applicants passed the test with a score of 75 to 96.9 out of 100 possible points. We would like to highlight the Master's degree students majoring in Psychology who showed the highest results.
The Academy is proud of the achievements of its students and provides them with opportunities for further professional development, as knowledge of ESG standards in today's international business environment is a requirement of today.
The Academy now also provides students with the opportunity to undergo such testing free of charge and receive an internationally recognised Sulitest certificate in addition to their diploma, which is a confirmation of the high and up-to-date level of knowledge that students receive at the Academy.
