April 20, 2017 in the Khmelnytsky Institute of IAPM within the Week of Psychology, a round table discussion "Deviant behavior of children and youth as a social and psychological problem" was held.

The scientific event was attended by representatives of state and public institutions (Khmelnytsky Palace of Children and Youth Creativity, Khmelnytsky City Center for Social Services for Family, Children and Youth, Development Center "Prostor", NGO "Khmelnitsky Association of Psychologists and Psychotherapists"), teachers and students (Khmelnitsky Economic and Law College and Institute of IAPM, Khmelnitsky Economic University, Kamenets-Podolsky National University named after Ivan Ohienko, Khmelnitsky humanitarian pedagogue ogicheskoy Academy).

During the scientific meeting the following issues were considered: modern problems of society: deviant behavior of the individual; Deviant behavior of children and youth: causes and consequences; aggression as a form of deviant behavior; Suicides as an extreme form of deviation in the behavior of the individual; the impact of aggressive behavior in the family socialization; technology works with deviantam et al.

A scientific meeting began with the welcome speech of the director of the Khmelnitsky Institute of IAPM, Leonid Grigorievich Beliy. In his speech, L.G. Beliy raised the problem of deviant behavior of children and young people. He pointed to the contribution of healthy youth to the development and protection of the state, is invaluable and majestic. On the urgency at the present stage of the development of the Ukrainian state, the issue of deviant behavior of children and young people was noted in her speech by the director of the Khmelnytsky Economic and Law College of the IAPM Valentina Parandiy. This problem was raised in her speech by Marina Nikolaevna Malinovskaya, the head of the Development Center "Prostor", a client-centered therapist, a family therapist, traumatherapy consultant. The practical aspect of the issue in question was revealed in her speech by Valentina Vladimirovna Blinder, a practical psychologist at the Khmelnytsky City Center for Social Services for the Family, Children and Youth. The issue of aggression as a form of manifestation of deviant behavior among young people and teenagers was highlighted in the report by Oksana Chevskaya, a practical psychologist of the NGO "Psychological Crisis Service" of the Khmelnytsky region. On the dependence of the deviant behavior of a teenager on his self-esteem revealed in her speech, Cherkasova Tatiana Mikhailovna, senior lecturer of the Department of Psychology of the Khmelnitsky Institute of IAPM. The question of creating groups in social networks, where children are inclined to commit suicide, as well as the problem of the meaning of life and death, was revealed in his speech by Kovtun Alexander Sergeevich, candidate of sociological sciences, senior lecturer of the psychology chair of the Khmelnytsky Institute of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. Rashina Inna Aleksandrovna, the teacher of pedagogy chair of the Khmelnytsky humanitarian-pedagogical academy, told about the prevention of deviant behavior of junior schoolchildren.

During the work of the scientific session, a book exhibition was held: "Psychology of the XXI Century: Theoretical and Practical Research", the organizer is the library of the Khmelnytsky Institute of the IAPM, the Department of Psychology.
