In Khmelnytsky Institute IAPM a meeting-requiem in memory of victims of the Chernobyl disaster was held
In late April, the Ukrainian public attention is drawn to sufferings of people who have experienced the effects of radiation. Among them are those who defended the world from a terrible disaster with their health and sometimes even life. The President declared the 2016 year of honoring the participants of liquidation of consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and the memory of victims of the Chernobyl disaster. This is stated in the decree № 702/2015 «On Measures in connection with the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster", which President signed December 14, 2015.
Thus, on April 26 at 12.20 in the auditorium of the Institute was held a rally-requiem of memory of victims of the Chernobyl disaster. All participants had the opportunity to see the video footage, listen to poems about the accident in the fourth reactor, and bow their heads in a minute of silence for the heroic rescue. During the event a memorial service for the deceased victims of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant was held.
