A scientific and practical seminar with elements of training with representatives of the cyber police was held at the Khmelnytskyi Institute of IAPM
On December 13, 2023, a scientific and practical seminar with elements of training was held at the Khmelnytskyi Institute of IAPM with Senior Inspector of the Cybercrime Department in the Khmelnytsky Region of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Senior Police Lieutenant Ruslan Danyliuk.
The participants of the training had the opportunity to listen to an interesting story and communicate with representatives of the Khmelnytskyi cyber police.
This time, Ruslan Danyliuk, Senior Inspector of the Cybercrime Unit in Khmelnytskyi Region of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine, spoke about the types of cybercrime and the types of punishment provided for by law. Of particular interest were the real facts about violations that occurred in our region.
They were also interested in information about new types of cyber fraud that are spreading in social networks:
“You will receive messages offering to earn money for likes and reposts, perhaps even 100-200 UAH. You are already hooked!
Later, they will steal access to your bank card or force you to buy goods at “super favorable prices.” It will be very difficult to refuse, so don't take the bait, just say NO!
How to act:
- do not trust promises of sky-high profits;
- do not share confidential information (card details, login and passwords to online banking, etc;)
- do not go to dubious websites, do not buy any goods there.
If personal information has been disclosed, block the card
if you suspect fraud, immediately notify the cyber police."
The participants of the training, given the professional specifics of their field of study, received a lot of information for reflection and further training.
We thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to learn and teach!
