Interregional Academy of Personnel Management

On November 22, 2018, the XVII All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Preservation of the National Idea and National Identity of the Ukrainian People in the Context of Historical Events of the Twentieth and Twentieth Centuries" was held at the IAPM Khmelnytsky Institute (to the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War (1914-1918), the 85th anniversary of the Holodomor (1932-1933), the 80th anniversary of the Great Terror, mass repressions (1937-1938).

An annual scientific conference brings together a wide range of participants. Representatives of state and public institutions (Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, Khmelnytsky Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, Lviv Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, State Archives of Khmelnytsky Region, State Archives of Vinnytsia Region), clergy, teachers, students and postgraduate students (Khmelnytsky Economics and Law College and IAUP Institute, Kamenets-Podilskyi Ivan Ogienko National University, Khmelnytsky which is a humanitarian pedagogical academy, Vinnitsa Humanitarian and Pedagogical College).

The conference on introductory speech of the director of Khmelnytskyi Economics and Law College MAUP V.O. Parandy began. Valentina Alexandrovna mentioned in her speech the commemoration and commemoration at the state level of commemorative dates and sorrows in Ukraine: the 85th anniversary of the Holodomor-genocide, the 80th anniversary of the Great Terror, mass repressions (1937-1938).

Viktor Romanovich Adamsky, candidate of historical sciences, senior lecturer of the department of social disciplines of the Khmelnitsky Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy, spoke about the artistic activity of the Prosvita Societies in Podillia in the era of the Ukrainian Central Rada.

The interesting archival facts about the Holodomor in Krasylivshchyna were disclosed in his report by Oleksandr Vasilyevich Baidych, Director of the Kuzminsk State High School I-III.

Vitaliy A. Lavrynchuk, Methodist of the House of Creativity of Children and Youth of Krasyliv City Council, highlighted the outstanding figure of I. Gerasimchuk, a member of the Central Rada on the basis of archival sources.

Prychishin-Klinovsky Sergey Maximovich, candidate of theology, archpriest, senior lecturer of the Department of Ukrainian Orthodoxy and Theology of the Khmelnytsky Institute, IAPM, read the appeal of His Holiness Anthony, Metropolitan Khmelnytsky and Starokostyantynivsky to all conference participants and the blessing for fruitful work. Sergey Maximovich told about the bishop of Podilsky Ambrose (Polyansky) and Valerian (Rudich) - new martyrs and confessors of the twentieth century.

Oleksandr Sergeevich Kovtun, Ph.D. in Sociological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology and Social Work KhIST VMURol Ukraine, disclosed about collective injuries in the modern political discourse of Ukraine.

During the conference, book illustrative exhibitions were held: "The Holodomor: the Black Confession of My Fatherland and its Painful Pain" (Khmelnytsky Oblast Universal Scientific Library); "Ukraine remembers the world recognizes" (Library Information Department of Khmelnytsky Institute of MAUP).
