Interregional Academy of Personnel Management

On December 7, 2018, the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Issues of State Building and Human Rights Protection in Ukraine" was held at Khmelnytsky Institute of IAPM (to the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Citizen).

Each year activities within the framework of the Week of Law are gathered by a wide range of participants. The meeting was attended by representatives of state and public institutions in the field of human rights protection: the Main Territorial Department of Justice in the Khmelnytsky Oblast (including the RACS Department), the Regional and Local Free Legal Aid Centers, the Office for the Protection of Human Rights of the National Police of Ukraine, the Delegation Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Human Rights in Khmelnytskyi oblast, State Archives of Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Khmelnytsky City Center for Social Services for Family, Children and Youth, NGO "Podilsky Prospect" representatives of educational institutions, lawyers, journalists, teachers, students and post-graduate students (Khmelnytskyi Economics and Law College and IAUP Institute, Khmelnytsky Humanitarian Pedagogical Academy, Kyiv Taras Shevchenko University, National Aviation University, Khmelnytsky University of Management and Law, National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine).

The conference on introductory speech of the director of Khmelnytsky Institute of IAPM L. G. White, who in a welcoming speech noted the importance of the Institute of Human Rights and Citizen at the present stage. Director of the State Archives of Khmelnytsky region VG Baidic highlighted the activities of the archive of research on the Institute of Rights and Freedoms. Regional coordinator of public relations of the Ombudsperson of the Verkhovna Rada on human rights O.M. Kizayeva reported on the role of the institution of the Human Rights Ombudsman in the field of observance of human rights and the importance of the National Preventive Mechanism.

Sniberko Yu.Yu., Senior Inspector of Special Assignments at the Office for the Protection of Human Rights of the National Police of Ukraine, in his report drew attention to human dignity and human rights as the basis of the constitutional structure of the state. O. V. Bartholomev (Deputy Director of the Regional Center for the Provision of Remaining Secondary Legal Aid in Khmelnytsky Oblast) in his report revealed the development of a system of free secondary legal aid in Ukraine. The conference was attended by representatives of the educational institutions of Khmelnytskyi: Director of the educational complex № 7 of the city of Khmelnitsky, Gorenko O. M. brought to the attention of the present aspects of the introduction of democratic school management as a way to ensure the observance of human rights and freedoms in the institution of education. GI Gotsky (director of the Khmelnytsky local center for the provision of free secondary legal aid) in his speech drew attention to measures to increase the access of citizens to the system of free legal aid. Head of the Division for the systematization of legislation, legal work and legal education in the management of state registration of normative legal acts, legal work and legal education of the Main Territorial Department of Justice in Khmelnitsky region VO Kusminskaya spoke about the results of the project of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine "I have a right!" - a project that helps protect human rights.

Director of the Khmelnytsky City Center for Social Services for Family, Children and Youth MM Lyubetskaya in his speech drew attention to the actual issues of social support for families (individuals) who are in difficult living conditions. Polishchuk I. V., a leading specialist of the Khmelnytsky City Department of State Registration of Civil Status Acts of the Main Territorial Department of Justice in Khmelnytsky Oblast, reported about administrative services in the field of civil registration.

Participation in the conference was attended by representatives of the Patrol Police Department in Khmelnytskyi Oblast - Inspector, Senior Lieutenant Poltem Strembitskaya G. M.

Member of the National Union of Writers and Journalists of Ukraine, journalist, public figure, writer Telenko B. P. Presented his book "Daphne mezereum. The taste of a wolf berry."

During the conference, book illustrating exhibitions: "Protection of human rights and citizen" (Library and Information Department of Khmelnytsky Institute of IAPM).
