All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference "Topical problems of adolescent psychology: theory and practice" was held at Khmelnitsky Institute
On April 22, 2020, the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference "Topical problems of adolescent psychology: theory and practice" was held at Khmelnitsky Institute of IAPM before All-Ukrainian Psychologist Day.
The participants of the scientific event were representatives of state and public institutions: K.A. Chaban, Director of Khmelnytsky Regional Universal Scientific Library; T.V. Matviychuk, Board Member of Khmelnitsky Association of Psychologists and Psychotherapists, Pediatric and Family Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Social, Humanitarian and General Economic Training of Khmelnytsky Cooperative Trade and Economic Institute; M.M. Malinovska, Head of the Space Center, Client-Centered Therapist, Family Therapist, Trauma Therapy Consultant, Teachers and Students Ivan Ogienko National University, Khmelnytsky Humanities and Pedagogical Academy, etc.).
During the scientific meeting the following issues were considered: psychological peculiarities of personality formation in adolescence; formation of self-consciousness in adolescence; biological and social factors in the mental development and formation of adolescent personality; communicating adolescents with adults: modern thinking; the phenomenon of friendship in adolescence; formation of legal culture in adolescents; the role of the family in the professional definition of adolescents; the problem of professional self-determination of youth; how to help a teenager in choosing a profession? etc.
The scientific meeting began with a welcome speech by the Director of Khmelnytsky Institute of IAPM Leonida Hryhorovycha Biloho. In the speech, L.H. Bilyy raised the problem of adolescent personality formation. He noted the contribution of healthy youth to the development and protection of the state, which is invaluable and grand. T.V. Matviychuk Member of the Board of Khmelnitsky Association of Psychologists and Psychotherapists, Child and Family Psychologist spoke about stress resistance as a personal property of future service workers.
Important questions were raised by young scientists: students of institutions of higher education and students of secondary schools.
Based on the conference materials, a collection of scientific papers will be published: Psychology of the 21st Century: Theoretical and Practical Studies. Edition 11.
