The IAPM held a seminar «When AI writes the text: how to evaluate academic works today?»

On June 10, 2026, the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management held a seminar “When AI writes the text: how to evaluate academic works today?”, organized with the participation of the StrikePlagiarism company.

The event brought together scientific and pedagogical workers, employees of the Academy’s structural divisions, and all those interested in issues of academic integrity in the context of the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies.

The speaker of the seminar was Olena Artyushenko, PhD, StrikePlagiarism development manager, who introduced the participants to modern challenges associated with the use of generative artificial intelligence in educational and scientific activities.

During the event, topical approaches to evaluating academic works in the context of the spread of artificial intelligence tools, the features of detecting signs of AI use during text preparation, as well as the capabilities of modern systems for checking academic materials. Particular attention was paid to the issues of maintaining academic integrity, forming a culture of responsible use of technology, and adapting internal assessment procedures to the new realities of digital education.

The seminar participants received practical recommendations for working with academic texts, got acquainted with current trends in the development of anti-plagiarism systems, and discussed the prospects for using artificial intelligence as a tool to support the educational process without violating the principles of academic ethics.

The event became an important platform for professional exchange of experience and discussion on ensuring the quality of education and scientific research in the era of digital transformation. The knowledge gained will contribute to further improving academic integrity practices and improving the quality of the educational process at the IAPM.
